General
Q: How long will my order take?
All standard items on the site are sent out on the 4th working day after you have approved your proof for production. Working days are classified as Monday to Friday and exclude Bank Holidays.
Q: Do you offer an Express service?
We officially do not offer an express service but you can request an accelerated delivery via the help desk. We will do everything possible to accommodate your requirements.
Q: How do I pay for my order?
We accept secure payments by debit or credit card online or, if you prefer, you can send a cheque. All orders paid for by cheque will be dispatched once we are in receipt of cleared funds.
Q: Do you provide a proof?
We will provide either a PDF softproof or a colour managed digital proof of your job prior to production. In both cases we must be in receipt of a proof approval slip prior to the commencement of production.
Q: I have downloaded some images from the internet - can these be used?
For best results we need pictures and images to be supplied at a minimum of 300dpi and saved in the CMYK colourspace. Most images found online are saved in the RGB colourspace at 72 dpi. These images once converted will give poor reproduction and should be avoided where possible.
Q: Will colours print as vibrantly on Cartridge (uncoated) paper as they do on Gloss/Silk (coated) Art Paper?
No, the nature of uncoated paper means that the ink dots will spread more (Dot Gain). This has the effect of making images more saturated especially colours which are dark to start with. If you are worried how your job will reproduce you can let us know via the helpdesk on our website and we will contact you discuss any potential issues.
Q: Will the colour of my printing match the colours shown on my monitor?
No, unless your monitor has been colour managed to replicate the characteristics of our printing presses then your printing will not match what you see on screen. The best way to ensure that your printing looks as you expect is to ensure that you get a digital colour proof sent to you for approval prior to the commencement of production.
No, you can upload your artwork anytime. After placing your order you can return and login to your Account and click on the 'View Previous Orders' link. This will list every order that you have placed with us. Once you have located the correct order all that you need to do is to click on the upload icon to the right hand side of the screen and follow the on screen instructions and that's it.
