A brief guide to flyer printing

In an ideal world every single flyer we print would be tailored individually for the person on the receiving end. It would have a message that would engage them so easily that they’d immediately get in touch. In reality that would be very expensive.

However when we consider cheap flyer printing, by thinking about some of the fundamental aspects of what it’s designed to do, we can start to create more effective campaigns. Here are some things to consider when looking at your next flyer campaign.

Variety

If you have a budget for flyers would it be best served by purchasing one set of ten thousand flyers or five sets of two thousand, each designed differently for different people? By breaking your target audience down into specific groups you are able to provide more tailored messages for certain people instead of generalising.

Focus on Products

Many companies use flyers to promote brands, making flyers seem more like a vanity play. If you are going to hook a potential customer it has to be with a product. Let product offers rule your flyer message and provide an offer customers can’t refuse.

Call to Action

In the chain of events which follow the issuing of a flyer the most important is to make the customer get in touch. This means giving them a reason to pick up the phone, send an email or even visit a location. A time limited discount for example may force an initial enquiry at which point you can elaborate further on the offer.

Information

Of course the customer won’t get in touch if they don’t know how. Bear in mind what information you need to give the customer in order for them to make contact. Phone number, email address, website, social media pages, location.

Taking time to make considerations like this will ensure that you significantly improve the chances of customers taking action. If you don’t you may be better off just putting them straight in the bin.
